Support for Lisa Stubbs Volcano Trek

A really lovely friend I have made here in Holmfirth is recovering from her treatment for breast cancer. Lisa is always thinking of others, always wanting to help out and is extremely generous in every way so I am in no way surprised that most of her time at the moment is being spent fundraising to support the unit in Leeds where she received her treatment. If you click here you will be able to read about Lisa's challenge and purchase this gorgeous printed card to support this wonderful cause.

Spring loves......

And my Plumo wish list this season in no particular order is.........

Fair weather cycling

Walking in the Pennines and Peak district is one of my favourite things to do. It used to be cycling but unless you are into extreme sports it isn't possible to pop to the shops on your bike around here. We often pack a picnic and load the bikes onto the car and escape to somewhere more suitable so that we can enjoy some non vertical cycling!

My new interest in Pinterest found me browsing through the bicycle images and drooling over this selection.

Getting organised

I think I have already mentioned that I am officially the most easily distracted person. Working from home is a real challenge for me. It is hard to focus on what needs to be done when surrounded by washing, last night's dishes and general house stuff. I have learned how to be more organised and not forget deadlines by planning each day. Obvious I know but still hard for someone who is so easily distracted.
I find it helps to have a selection of fabulous stationery. Writing notes and planning ahead in beautifully printed notebooks makes the job a real pleasure and helps to keep me focused and inspired to get through the day without too many long gazes out of the window.

Take a look at this selection of lovely notebooks I have found.
